Being a student, I do face a lot of cash crunch situations. Over the years I have learned to manage my money well. One of the important features of managing money and being a student is finding out cheap and yet good food joints. My nose recently stumbled across one such place.
In a quiet little corner of Prabath Road Cross, Pune is Casa Lolo. according to me this is place is near heaven when it comes to students who love non veg food minus the big bucks. It provides everything you could ever want in a good, cheap food joint. The ambience, the food, the service, the crowd. It's for reasons like this why people never move out of their college years.
Casa Lolo's is a Lebanese inspired food. It takes your pallet through a jouney of the crunchiest of chicken the softest of hummus and the coldestof cokes. My advice for people who are goin there is to pick the 'Special Platter'. This beauty of a dish comes with a bed of cabbage and tomatos and then covered with juicy shredded chicken. By the side of the plate you have a nice generous heap of french fries, a super large piece of grilled chicken and a chicken burger so simple and yet so delicious that you have to finish it off in one go. But thats not all buggers!! You also get a bowl full of white flowly hummus and lots of peta bread and a cold bottle of coke. And to think, all of this costs only Rs.150.
I suggest that you stop reading my blog and run along quicky to Casa Lolo's, if you are in Pune. If not...ok then!!
Cheers!!
